TUESDAY & THURSDAY EVENINGS we meet in The Angel car park, (inside if cold and wet). Arrive in time to set off at 7:30pm. During the Winter months we take advantage of the street lighting to all corners of the village or along Wakefield Road to Nostell Priory and beyond. Runs generally of 5-6 miles, but can easily do more (or less!). Those training for the London or other marathon tend to start at 6:15 to build up distance and normally run back to The Angel to link up with those fortunate enough not to have got in. Social drink(s) in the pub afterwards for those with time

SUNDAY MORNINGS we have a change of scenery and meet at the
Visitor Centre Car Park, Anglers' Country Park, Haw Park Lane, Wintersett, (between Ryhill and Crofton).
This area is a runner's paradise with an abundance of woodland trails, canal towpaths along the Trans Pennine Trail, rail to trail tracks, lakeside paths and more. The lake and woodland at Newmillerdam is easily reached. Ideal for the longer Sunday run, but with plenty of cut off points to get back if necessary.To compliment the scenery, there is good parking, toilets and a cafe for drinks and snacks afterwards.
Arrive for a 9:00 am start
