Club Committee

The club is managed through a committee elected annually at the Annual General Meeting held in October. It has overall responsibility for managing income and expenditure, ensuring we operate in accordance with the constitution, organising races and social events, provision of effective communication with members and generally ensuring the club meets the needs of the membership. The club's strength is ultimately dependent upon the time and effort provided by committee members. Membership of the committee is open to all whatever their length of time with the club.

With the substantial growth in numbers over the last year, there is room to co-opt more members onto the committee. If you wish to help out or want more details, please let us know. The committee meets once per month on a training night, normally lasting for about 90 mins.
We are also like to encourage involvement and feedback from members at committee meetings. It would help deliberations if 2 or 3 members attended a meeting on an ad hoc basis - the views of the general membership are very important.
